The Department of Physical Education was established in the year 1948. It consists of adequate facilities for games and sports in 10 acres of land around the college building. Play fields for Volleyball, Kabaddi, Basketball, Football, Badminton are available along with a 400 metres athletic track. Indoor games like Caroms, Chess and a 16-station Gymnasium for men and fitness equipment for women are also available.

Department Status
The college provides various sports facilities including indoor and outdoor games. A splendid cricket ground is also available where day matches are played.
A basketball court at par with national standards has been built in the college. Students fully utilize the facilities provided to them and bring good name to the college. A number of state level players have emerged from the training facilities provided under the stewardship of the Director, Physical Education.
