Profile

The Central Library of our college was established in 1952. It is located in the main building and is accessible to students of all classes and members of teaching and non-teaching staff. A well-furnished reading room is located at the western side and a separate reference section in the main building.

Goals

1. To develop the Central Library into a full-fledged, state-of-the-art automated library.
2. To ensure that the library is fully utilised by staff and students by making it user-friendly.
3. To construct a newly dedicated full-fledged library building.

Membership

1. Students and staff who join the college become members automatically. Membership forms are available at the library. Library ID cards are issued for book issue purposes.
2. With special permission, membership is open to retired staff, alumni, research scholars, and community members.
3. The ID card is valid for three years; renewal requires showing the current fee receipt each year.
4. A "No Due Certificate" from the library is required at the time of leaving the college.
