About the Department

The Department of Commerce had started in 1958 and offered B.Com (General) Course since 1958 and then onwards has grown by leaps and bounds year by year by introducing various employment oriented courses in Commerce. From the 2012-13 academic year, onwards the courses are offered in CBCS pattern at both UG and PG level. At present the department is offering 3 (Three) Undergraduate Honours Courses, namely, Bachelor of Commerce (General) (EM) and Bachelor of Commerce (Computer Application) (EM) and Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) and also offering One Post Graduate Programme i.e., M.Com.
