Government College for Men

It gives me immense pleasure to announce that Govt. College for Men (Autonomous), Kadapa, has been selected under the prestigious DBT Star College Scheme by the Department of Biotechnology, Ministry of Science and Technology, Government of India, with a sanctioned grant of ₹1.32 crore.

This grant will play a pivotal role in enhancing science education at the undergraduate level by improving laboratory infrastructure, promoting hands-on experimental learning, and encouraging scientific temper among students.

Our college is proud to have five science departments - Zoology, Botany, Chemistry, Physics, and Computer Science - participating in this transformative project.

It is with immense pride and joy that I announce the selection of our college under the prestigious DBT Star College Scheme. This achievement is a collective milestone made possible by the dedication of our faculty, students, and administration.

The DBT Star College Scheme will empower us to enhance the teaching and learning infrastructure, promote hands-on learning, and foster a culture of innovation and scientific inquiry.

Five departments - Zoology, Botany, Chemistry, Physics, and Computer Science - will be actively participating in the implementation of the project.
