It is with immense pride and joy that I announce the selection of our college under the prestigious DBT Star College Scheme. This achievement is a collective milestone made possible by the dedication of our faculty, students, and administration.

The DBT Star College Scheme will empower us to enhance the teaching and learning infrastructure, promote hands-on learning, and foster a culture of innovation and scientific inquiry.

Five departments - Zoology, Botany, Chemistry, Physics, and Computer Science - will be actively participating in the implementation of the project.

About DBT Star College Scheme

The DBT Star College Scheme is an initiative by the Department of Biotechnology, Government of India, to enhance the quality of science education at the undergraduate level in colleges across the country.

The scheme aims to:

  • Improve infrastructure for science education
  • Promote research and innovation at undergraduate level
  • Enhance laboratory facilities and equipment
  • Support faculty development programs
  • Encourage student participation in science activities
  • Foster industry-academia collaborations
