About the Department

The department of psychology was started in the premises of Z.P. Office Kadapa in the year 1949. Later it has been shifted to the present building of Govt. college for men, kadapa in the year 1952. The department offers psychology as an ancillary subject along with History, Economics in a 3year BA Degree programme under CBCS. Presently Smt P.Sravanthi, Lecturer in Psychology is the In-Charge of the department and the chairperson of Board of Studies in Psychology.
