Students also visited the in-house Poultry form and Dodla Dairy form where they experienced advance technology in maintaining the hygienic environment, milking machinery etc. Novel irrigation technology was also observed which could be used to irrigate 75 acres in 24 hours and the programmable machine. Grass cutting and making bundles that reduce the storage space as well as maintain the nutrients for a long period were also observed. Finally, students were motivated to go for higher studies especially in the research and to build capability to get jobs as well as to become entrepreneur.

Students visited the Raw material storage place and the actual processing of agricultural waste into fuel bricks. They also observed the cutter which is used for cutting logs into small pieces. The feeding machine taking up the raw material and pumping into the compressing chamber was also observed. Some of the students have loaded the raw material manually under safe precautionary conditions. The employee explained the procedure of cooling the recycled engine oil with water jacket by opening the cooling chamber with inlet of cool water and an outlet of warm water. The fuel bricks (rods) were observed with respect to the texture, temperature, moisture etc., by touching the material. The bricks coming out were hot and soft. So the employees are able to break the fuel bricks in convenient size to pack

Students of biotechnology visited GenomixCARL at APCARL, Pulivendula along with faculty members Dr. P. Kalpana, lecturer in biotechnology and Dr. P. V. Krishna Reddy, lecturer in botany on 28.07.2022. The equipment available and their usage were explained well by Senior Scientist P. V. Janardhan Reddy at GenomixCARL. Students have interacted well with them and cleared their doubts.

Students visited the institute and observed soil testing for phosphorous and visited biofertilizer manufacturing unit. Students observed microbial mother cultures as slants and different types of culture media. Students have seen working of agitator in 200 litre fermenter. Students visited vermicompost unit also.

Sc., Biotechnology Students of III year and II year visited Dr. Venkata Rami Reddy’s Research lab (where animal cell culture facility was also available), experimental animal facility, liquid nitrogen preparation plant, Agri Park lab, Butterfly Park and museum, molecular biology lab on 29-10-2024. Students observed the casting of agarose gel and II year students loaded the DNA samples onto the gel. Thermal cycler operation was observed and students also rewritten the programme in PCR machine
