The department of Economics is one of the oldest and main constituent department of the Govt College for Men (A) Kadapa, established in 1954 with offers courses on BA in Economics and it attracted the largest number of students at the Undergraduate level. Since its inception, the department has been committed towards promoting high quality and relevance teaching. The department has 2 faculty members and strength of department is in our faculty with wide range of specialties in Economics. Faculty members in the department are well respected authors and Scholars and are active teaching research and professional service.
