The Economics Department of Government Degree College (Autonomous), Kadapa, organized an RBI Financial Literacy Week (9-13 Feb-2026) celebration on February 13, 2026, in collaboration with the Financial Literacy Centre (FLC) and Canara Bank, Kadapa. The event featured talks by financial literacy promoters C. Veera prasad and B. Prasad on topics such as KYC basics, Central KYC Registry records, account hygiene and discipline, unclaimed deposits, nomination, digital banking, and cyber frauds. Economics Department Head K. Sivaram and lecturer Yashoda also spoke, discussing financial inclusion. The event aimed to raise awareness among students about essential financial concepts and practices.
