CO1: Programme Outcomes for B.A., Special Telugu (4-Year Honours Degree):- To sensitize students to the power of language and literature in human society, after completing the Four-Year B.A., Programme in Telugu, students will be able to— PO1- The students acquire knowledge in the field of literature, social sciences and Humanities which make them sensitive and sensible enough, early from Pre-Nannaya Period to till date PO2- The students will be acquainted with the social, economical, geographical, Historical, political, ideological and philosophical tradition and thinking which Includes Critical approach and analysis
CO2: PO3- Identify and describe different periods of Telugu literary history; students can Learn how to write Poetry(ancient & modern) and involve in creative works PO4- Understand and appreciate sample literary texts representing different periods, Different regions and cultures along with all Literary Trends
CO3: PO5- Demonstrate an understanding of how language works as a powerful tool of Literary expression; Study about different genres of Literature right from 11th Century PO6- Demonstrate improved understanding of the Telugu language and its role in the Changing Global scenario; enables the students to aquire the knowledge with human values framing the base to deal with various problems in life with courage and humanity
CO4: PO7- Demonstrate confidence in using Telugu for different communicative purposes PO8- Distinguish between linguistic and literary studies
CO5: PO9- Demonstrate an understanding of basic concepts in linguistics PO10- Programme provides the base to be the responsible citizen

PO1: 1. తెలుగుసాహిత్యం యొక్క ప్రాచీనతను, విశిష్టతను గుర్తించడం, ఆదికవి నన్నయ కాలం నాటి భాషా, సంస్కృతులను పరిచయం చేయడం
PO2: 2. ఆయా కవుల కాలం నాటి మతపరిస్థితులు, కావ్య విశేషాలు తెలియజేయడం ద్వారా సమాజం పట్ల అవగాహన పెంపొందింపజేయడం
PO3: 3. సంపన్న కుటుంబాలలోని పరిస్థితులు, ప్రేమ, పరువు వంటివి మనిషిని ఎలా నడిపిస్తాయో అవగాహన కల్పించడం
PO4: 4. జమీందారీ వ్యవస్థ ఎలా బీటలు వారుతుందో, మన సమాజంలో పెట్టుబడిదారీ బీజాలు ఎలా నాటుకున్నాయో అర్థం చేసుకోవడంతో పాటు మన పల్లెటూళ్లు, మానవ సంబంధాలు, ఆస్తి అంతస్తులు వికృత రూపంలో ఎలా సాక్షాత్కరిస్తాయో తెలియజేయడం
PO5: 5.జీవితచరిత్ర ప్రక్రియను పరిచయం చేయడం ద్వారా సాహితీవేత్తల మనోభావాలను గ్రహింపజేసెట్లు చేయడం

PSO1: 1.వర్తమాన తెలుగుజీవనంలో ఒకభాగమైన ఆధునిక తెలుగు కవిత్వం తీరుతెన్నులను, సౌందర్యాన్ని విశ్లేషణాత్మకంగా అవగాహన చేసుకోవడం, దేశభక్తి, సామాజిక అసమానతల నివారణ మొదలైన భావాలను పెంపొందేలాగా జేయడం
PSO2: 2. సున్నితమైన భాషను ఉపయోగిస్తూ, ఉత్తమ భావాలను ప్రకటించే సామర్థ్యాన్ని అందుకునేలా చేయడం, సమాజంలోని అసమానతలను కవిత్వం ద్వారా ఖండింపజేయడం, విభిన్న కవితా వస్తువులతో కవిత్వాన్ని రాయించడం
PSO3: 4. దీర్ఘ కావ్య ప్రక్రియను,రచనావిధానాన్ని అర్థం చేసుకోవడం, శిల్పంలోస్వేచ్ఛను, భావప్రకటనలో వచ్చిన మార్పులను, సమాజానికి భాష దగ్గరకావడాన్ని అవగాహన కలిగించడం

PO1: 1. ప్రాచీనతెలుగుకవితాసౌందర్యాన్ని, విశిష్టతనుగుర్తించడం, భక్తి కవిత్వ విశిష్టతను, భక్తితత్వాన్నిఅర్థం చేసుకునేలా చేయడం,మార్గకవితకు వ్యతిరేకంగా తలెత్తిన దేశికవిత్వోద్యమాన్ని అవగాహన చేయించడం, శివకవుల కాలంనాటి మత, ధార్మిక పరిస్థితులను, భాషావిశేషాలను గ్రహింపజేయడం
PO2: 2. తెలుగుజాతి సంప్రదాయాలను గ్రహిస్తూ, తెలుగువారి సంస్కృతిలో ఒకభాగమైన పద్యకవిత్వం వికాసం చెందిన విధానాన్ని,మహాభారత రచనావిశిష్టతను గ్రహిస్తూ, అందులోని కావ్యశిల్పాన్ని తెలుసుకునేలా చేయడం
PO3: 3. పురాణ వైశిష్ట్యాన్ని గమనించడంతోపాటు భాగవత రచనా విధానాన్ని, పోతన కవిత్వ లక్షణాలను, శబ్దాలంకారాల విశిష్టతను తెలియజేయడం
PO4: 4.కావ్యం ప్రబంధ ప్రక్రియలోకి పరిణమించిన వైనాన్ని, ప్రబంధయుగ విశిష్టతను చేసుకోవడం, కావ్యవస్తువు లోకాలానుగుణంగా వచ్చిన మార్పులు, కావ్య చమత్కారాలు పరిచయం చేయడం
PO5: 5.కావ్య రచనా శైలిని అర్థం చేసుకోవడం, రామాయణ కావ్య విశేషాలను పరిచయం చేయడం
