VISION & MISSION 1. The Department undertakes Teaching in a view to develop an attitude in Students to take Research in Telugu with emphasis on various aspects of historical and comparative studies in Language and Literature 2. An equal importance is also give for studies in classical literature along with interdisciplinary approach 3. To bring Language Skills among the Students. 4. To study the evolution of the Telugu Culture and traditions reflected in Literature 5. To develop overall personality of students and make them responsible and enlightened citizens of the society.
OBJECTIVES 1. Promoting Studies in Telugu Language and Literature 2. Developing Research bent of mind 3. Framing Syllabus as per the Changing needs of the society 4. Giving importance for studies in Classical Literature along with interdisciplinary approach 5. Developing the students to turn their Telugu Language Skills into Creative Skills towards the needs of the society.
