B. Sc., Biotechnology Students of IV semester visited Central Instrumentation Facility, Agri Science Park, Scanning Electron Microscope Facility, Animal House Facility, various departmental laboratories of science departments of Yogi Vemana University, Kadapa on 18.02.2026. Students visited laboratories, which contains major equipment, related to Biotechnology such as High speed centrifuges, Spectrophotometers, Nano spectrophotometer, FTIR, Thermal cyclers (for PCR), various distillation units, Gel documentation system, Electrolysis of water, Culturing of Algae, vertical and horizontal laminar air flow cabinets and animal cell culture facility. Students observed H & E stained lung tissue section using Inverted Microscope and also prepared agarose gel and loaded samples onto the gel. After running the gel for 25 min, students observed bands of DNA using Gel documentation system. Finally, students were motivated to go for higher studies especially in the research and to build capability to get jobs as well as to become entrepreneur.
